I don’t know if I will make it back to the BHB again this year, but here are the seahorse photos I have from this year so far.
One of the things I wanted to do while at Devil’s Tower National Monument was to take some astrophotography with timelapse and star trails.
During my visit to Yellowstone I got to see several coyotes. This one entertained a fairly large group of people for a while as it searched this field for anything to eat.
I took these two photos within minutes of each other almost exactly two years ago during a visit to Florida. Both birds are Double-crested Cormorants, but the first one is a juvenile and the second is an adult.
I don’t know specific cactus species, but when I am near them I feel compelled to take close-up photos of the spines. These are assorted photos from Colorado, California, South Dakota, and Arizona.
While we’re reliving the Colorado visit, let’s take a look at some lizards. I was not expecting to see lizards in Colorado, so these were always fun surprises.
I might have to schedule another visit to Colorado sometime soon. These critters are back from my visit in 2021.
A few more shots from the cenotes during my trip to Mexico last December… This time with my dive buddies…
I asked about these road signs when I was visiting Congaree National Park, and the answer was that they are meant to make you think instead of just driving by in your normal routine… I like it.
During my last visit to Florida, I managed to catch some birds with their next generation in different stages of development… See if you can figure out which species are here…
More grizzlies from the Tetons…
Just some landscapes from my visit to Badlands National Park last year… Including a couple from my last day there when the haze and smoke from the Canadian wildfires rolled in.
I recently got word that my friend Katherine completed her scuba instructor certification and I also got word that my friend Eric successfully underwent a surgery, which made me think about PNW diving… so here are the rest of the Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker photos from…
These first couple are from Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes – and I have to admit that this is what I was expecting to see more of when I first though of visiting deserts, but this is the first set of “proper” sand dunes I’ve encountered.…
Finishing up the last of my fish photos from when I was last in Bali. I really do need to get back there soon!
