This coyote hung out with me for a good amount of time… I was sitting in my car while it wandered back and forth in the fields on both sides of the dirt road I was on. Right up until some other guy pulled up and impatiently got out of his car to try to get closer – as soon as he did, the coyote turned and deliberately walked away and didn’t look back. There is definitely something valuable about knowing when to use your car as a hide – even when it is obvious, some animals are much more comfortable that way. I’m glad I got some good shots first though…
