I did not originally think a visit to Carlsbad Caverns National Park would be worth it, but on (another) recommendation from my friend Dawn, I made a point to add it to my itinerary for my drive east towards Florida, and I am quite glad I did. This place was incredible. I’m sure my photos don’t do it justice – this is a place you really need to experience in person.
