While we’re on the subject of ducks… Here are a few shots of a pair of Harlequin Ducks I managed to photograph at Keystone Jetty on Whidbey Island. I had seen a post that someone else saw them there and figured I would try getting some photos. Unfortunately I didn’t have the best lighting and I made it worse by thinking I could use my old camera with the 100-400 + 1.4x extender which disables auto-focus… so I only managed a handful of mediocre photos, but since it is a species I’ve not seen before, here goes…
