While we’re on the subject of stops along the drives to/from Monterey, Here’s a quick little video of a spot I found when I drove through Brookings, Oregon last year as I headed south. When I stopped last year, it was raining much harder and I didn’t want to get soaked exploring the trail. Though it was still a little rainy this year, it had stopped long enough for us to visit a bit longer and I took a quick run down to the bottom to get some better video…. Such a cool place.
