An unexpected feature of Bryce Canyon National Park when I visited was the boldness of the crows. I know crows are a somewhat common bird, so it would seem photographing them wouldn’t be a challenge, but my encounters with them tended to be with ones that were wary enough of humans to keep a good distance. The ones in Bryce, however, seemed to have figured out that the park guests are good sources of food and these ones didn’t mind being approached… since I find them interesting, I didn’t mind the opportunity to get some good photos.
