Found these little guys near the waterfalls from the previous post. I was pretty sure they were a grass lizard, and then on the walk back to the car I saw a sign that had them listed as a local species. Though almost all of the sign was in Chinese, the scientific name of Takydromus formosanus was readable and also confirmed that this particular species is endemic to Taiwan. You might remember another grass lizard from a previous post.
I do really like that green coloring on the sides… my guess is that is the male, and the plain brown one on the right is the female.
