Ok – I haven’t been sharing much land-based photography recently (mainly because I just haven’t been taking any for a while), but here is a quick series of photos I shot while in Timor Leste of a parasitic wasp of some sort that we found digging a burrow and then dragging a rather large grasshopper into (I assume to lay its eggs on and feed its larvae). If you’re curious, the grasshopper was probably 3-4″ long, so this is no tiny wasp either.
