I guess I’m in a bit of a video mood recently, so here’s another post getting bumped to the front of the queue…
As I mentioned when I posted the Weaver Ants post, I have been on the look out for them actually making a nest. One day I managed to see them holding a very large leaf folded in half and I took a couple quick photos and short video clips, and then a few days later I actually managed to spot one of the workers carrying around a larval ant to get the silk to “sew” the leaves together, so I got some more photos and video.
And then I was gently nudged towards making a nicer video complete with some “edu-ma-cational” captions to teach you a bit more about weaver ants… Take a look and let me know what you think…
