Well, I found a quick way to get some more posts… I have a bunch of photos I’ve uploaded with the intention of sharing, but have not yet done so…
So first up is a cool nudibranch that I only saw a couple times on this trip, but each time was notable…
The first was literally seconds after passing my in-water benthic ID test, I gave Rachel (one of the field scientists) a high-five, then looked down and instantly saw this bright orange nudibranch – it was almost like a prize for passing my test.

Another time was when I found the Blue Dragon Nudibranch… I originally only saw the bright orange of the Ocellated Phyllidia and it wasn’t until I got closer that I realized the Blue Dragon was there. So if it wasn’t for the Ocellated Phyllidia, I would have never seen it!
