Andavadoaka Sunrise

I know this photo isn’t all that great (it was taken with my cell phone), but for at least the first week here in Andava, this was my morning view as I made a point to wake up and get out for the sunrise. Recently with the diving, I’ve been a bit more tired/lazy and been missing them, but maybe I’ll try to get back into the routine again.

From this viewpoint, you can kind of make out the village on the left, but it was just nice to be able to wake up, take a few steps and be able to watch the sun paint the sky with those colors every morning.

The sunsets have been hit or miss, but I’ll try to get a couple good shots soon (it is getting tougher and tougher to do so as they are happening earlier every evening and sometimes we are busy with other stuff at that time, so I need to catch it on an “off” day

And I definitely still need to do some astro-photography with all the stars that are visible here – but right now it is almost a full moon (now as in while I’m typing this, not when this post will go live), so I need to wait a bit longer for a new moon to really let the stars shine.
