I remember this dive very well… The visibility was absolutely horrible. There were five of us, and we lost each other multiple times (once requiring a trip to the surface to regroup)… and we circled over the same patch a couple times trying to orient ourselves and find something of interest. I found this Leafy Filefish (Chaetodermis penicilligera) and it took me a few seconds to even recognize that it was a fish and not just floating debris, then I had to look around and get the attention of other folks in my group without losing site of the fish. I managed a few shots, but only the closest is worthwhile because of all the backscatter in the water…
