This species of shrimp has been on my list of ones I was hoping to see some day, but they’ve been quite elusive… so imagine my surprise when we found multiple of them on the same dive… and not just in the same spot, but some on a large sea cucumber and one more on a rather large nudibranch. Oh, and I have no idea why they’re called Emperor Shrimps, they just are.
Looks closely for the bonus mystery shrimp in one of the photos.
