It is Clematis, and is a climbing vine. We inherited it with the house, but I think it may have actually come from my Uncle who lives behind us. (My mom's family grew up with the children that used to live here).

Ours is white and light purple, but it comes in lots of different colors. I can't wait for flowers again, either.
